The price of mainstream 1Gb DDR3 chips is set to plunge by about 40% sequentially in the fourth quarter of 2010, ... DRAMeXchange previously estimated contract prices for 2GB DDR3 modules would decrease around 30% on quarter to reach US$20 by year-end 2010. But prices have fallen by more than 30% so far in the fourth quarter ... prices are likely to continue falling through the first half of 2011, before starting to rebound toward the end of the second quarter

No hurry, guys.

Those mushkins were hard to pass up, but I bet they'll be close to $100 for 2 sets by the beginning of next year.

Hmmmm - I jumped for the 8gb GSkill 1600 RAM on the BF sale for $99. This is for my SB build coming in Jan.

Maybe I should have waited if its really going to fall that much.

I paid $85 for a set of 2x2GB Gskill 1333 end of September/Start of October, same kit is down to $55 and I've only used the computer I put it in a few times since I built it. lol
