hey, can you list off the d2d sales for this week? I know it's RPG themed but I can't access it at work?

Thanks

Defintely worth $5. I liked the game after a slooow start. It's quite enjoyable. The ending is awful though.

I am enjoying Drakensang right now. Definitely has an old school flavor to it. Very slow by todays standards (kind of a good thing) but has some annoying control issues / omissions. Very basic party AI (essentially attack / defend).

Worth the $5 to hold over to Christmas releases.

Thanks, I may check it out. Maybe there are some community fixes or mods out by now.

Yeah theres a good english mod by Ergo. One of the many nice fixes it has is increasing run speed by ~25%. It also makes combat a bit more challenging. You can increase the run speed even more if you want, by manually editing some files.

Ergo's mod

This is exactly what gamers need in the downturn... cheap awesome games to keep us busy until the economy is back up where it needs to be :)

Then they'll hit us with $60.00 games... :(

Assassin's Creed was a lot of fun.
Elven Legacy - "Classic turn-based strategy gameplay as seen in such series as Heroes of Might & Magic " - 71 metacritic review #... so maybe not so much?

Elven legacy is certainly a niche game. Fantasy Wars is the original game and is generally considered superior. FW has 3 campaigns compared to EL's one.

Both games can best be compared to the old Panzer General games. Kind of a cross between Panzer General and the classic Fantasy Wars. Or a graphically enhanced Battle for Wesnoth.

That being said i enjoyed the heck out of Fantasy Wars and am having fun with Elven Legacy. However, if you dont like turn based games, this is not for you.

Sorry for getting this thread off topic.
