It will be interesting with Stephen Chow and an american casts. It's going to be action/comedy for sure.

I don't think it's going to follow the manga or the anime that much based on this

It's gonna suck if they just fight and don't concentrate on the quest for the 7 Dragonballs.
I loved Dragonball. Dragonball Z ruined it for me, except maybe the story lines of Vejita and Trunks.

 
I don't watch japanamai or keep track of this kind of stuff, but I'm still a tad curious...

I'm assuming the movie will be a cartoon?

Nope.

If you look up the movie on IMDB and take a look at who has been cast, they are trying a bit *too* hard to look for actors that look *just* like the characters.

I actually liked Z way better than Dragonball, which was very good. I liked Cell Saga best, but thought the whole Majin Buu thing just killed it.

GT was just amazingly awful for the most part though.
 
you know...i remember back in middle school (like 8-9 years ago) when me and the other dbz nerds were talking about a movie to be release in 07...odd...anywho, it will suck

wow, they are really investing in this movie. I don't have any expectations for it as this movie could end up being anything from suckage to cool.

hehe ya. I had zero expectations for speed racer when it was announced, but when I saw the trailer and how it was cast rather well, I changed my mind. Speed Racer sounds like it'll be a pretty good popcorn flick.

Ah its been so long since I last saw DB... Wow! A "real life" movie sounds just unreal, how can they possibly turn it into a good flick? Cant wait for trailers etc
 
wait! i thought Chi chi in the Dragonball cartoon was like 12 or so?how old are they going to have goku?
