Dragonball Z was one of my guilty anime pleasures. I know it sucks compared to so many other anime but I still liked the series! Anyway this movie is based off of the original Dragonball series not Z. Of course it looks like it will suck which is no surprise. Not sure they really could make a live action Dragonball / (Z) movie that didn't suck but I'd like to see such a thing if it could exist!
 
I am SO going to... rent... this movie... with one of my free blockbuster rentals... when it hits DVD two months after opening in theaters.

Japan's reaction to this movie was a big WTF along with Hollywood should leave anime liveaction adaptations to Japan. I guess they forgot the Gundam liveaction movie........

Yeah, he's white just like in the series. Last time I checked Goku didn't have squinty eyes and wasn't into tentacle rape hentai.
