When I click on your link it essentially says to 'log in with the account that is authorized for this content'.

The problem is, when I bought DA:O Ultimate on Steam, I got 2 keys. One for the game (Ultimate Edition), and one for Awakening.

I have authenticated both on the Bioware website, yet in game it still doesn't say that I'm authorized to use the additional content, and that additional content was advertised on the Steam page for DA:O Ultimate. Are we talking about the same problem?

Edit: I have 2 keys. One for DA:O Ultimate, and one for DA:O Ultimate DLC. On the steam purchase page it says this includes DA:O, Awakening, and all of the bonus content listed under 'downloadable content' (hence the 'ultimate' qualifier, I guess).

This is what the link says:

Downloadable content for Dragon Age: Origins is associated with a BioWare/EA Online account. In order to use/play the content, you need to be logged in with the same account you used to purchase or redeem the content. If you see an (Unauthorized) message next to the check box(es) in the Installed Content tab, please log in with the same account that was originally authorized to play the content. See the screenshot below for more information about where this error is indicated.

If you have made sure you are signing in with the correct account, and it still doesn't work, please try following the steps listed below. Be sure to follow these instructions exactly.

  • Close out of the game. Go to My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings.
  • Find the Addins.xml file and open it with Word Pad, Notepad, or any XML editor.
  • Press Ctrl. A to select all, then Ctrl. C to copy.
  • Paste the copied text into a new Notepad, Word Pad, or Word document and save the file. This will be your back-up.
  • Go back to the Addins.xml file and replace all entries that read RequiresAuthorization="1" with RequiresAuthorization="0".
    • NOTE: Make sure you do not make any other changes.
  • Save and close the document and try running the game.
  • If this has no effect, restore settings by pasting the contents of your backup document back into the Addins.xml, then Save and Close.
If the problem still persists you may want to try the following;

  • Shut down Dragon Age: Origins
  • From the Windows desktop, click the Start button, then select Run
  • At the command prompt, type "net stop DAUpdaterSvc" and click OK
  • Navigate to My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Settings and delete the files Manifest.xml, Offers.xml, and addins.xml
  • Navigate to My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age and delete the Offers folder
  • Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BioWare\Dragon Age\ and deleted the DAUpdater folder (where C: is the default directory)
  • Navigate back to My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age and delete the folder called AddIns
  • Return to the command prompt (click Start, then Run) and type "net start DAUpdaterSvc" before clicking OK
  • Restart Dragon Age: Origins and log in
