Played the EA Vault download yesterday for a few hours and loved it. Kinda strangely reminded me of Bulders Gate series. I've now preordered on XB1.

Just paid this off. Going with this game over far cry 4 for now. Ubisoft isn't on my good side. Heh

Well Watch Dogs was a big letdown and AC Unity hasn't been great either but I loved Far Cry 3 and even if 4 was more of the same, I'd enjoy it but I just can't choose it over Dragon Age. I love me a good RPG with good story telling and Bioware is second to none in that department and this should more than enough tickle my fancy. I expect this game to take over my life for a while.

I may try the access thing for one month to try this game out. I'll probably pick up far cry 4 tomorrow at best buy with GCU because it's still on sale for $30. I think I'll get it on ps4. Going to try my luck ordering forza 2 from the MS site on black Friday.

Well, Farcry 3 got tiresome to me after a while. The mechanics were good, but I didn't like climbing towers and taking over bases the entire time. Felt like Assassin's Creed FPS.

I'm trying to finish sunset overdrive up cause I put that game down for a while. Then I'll be free to dedicate time to Dragon Age. I can play Halo any time cause I've played them all before. I can jump in and out of Horizon 2 easily cause racing games don't demand my attention like a game driven by a central plot.

Just booted up the game, I'm choosing a Qunari Mage. Playing Qunari since they are new so giving it a go. Wanted to play human but I'll try that for a second play through.

Im still not sure if to cancel and get it on PS4...
I pre-ordered it for PC because i saw more SPELLS for PC than PS4 due to the controller keys limit

Dont know what to expect on PS4 , any idea guys? or advice ?:(

I just ordered it for the PS4. I had a deal for newegg where if you spent over $50 using paypal you got $10 back. However, newegg doesn't accept preorders with paypal so I couldn't order it until today.

Any recommended begin class? I was thinking warrior --> reaver but am afraid that it might be a bit dull. I don't think I'll have time to play through more than twice and wanted to go with a mage the second time so am thinking of rolling a dual wield rogue.

Too busy playing. I'm 31 hours in and I just finished the third storyline mission. 2 dragons down. I think I should go back to work/see my family at some point but...nah.
Holy crap!!!

I'm 6.5hrs in and I've barely gotten to the Hinterlands. I've spent time talking to everyone, randomly gathering stuff, walking everywhere. I'm spending too much time doing everything else but progressing.

I really did take off work to put that much time in. Quite honestly, I would have put more in but I had to take the daughter to school/pick her up and take her to ballet/pick her up as part of my deal with the wife.

I think I spent about 5 or 6 hours in the Hinterlands before finally moving on. I just hit 20 hours when I met the antagonist for the first time, and then 30 hours when I did the next story mission.

If you've spent all that time meandering about, not doing much story progression, and enjoying yourself, I think that's pretty awesome

If you love RPG's it doesn't get much better than this game. Bioware does dialogue great and you actually care about people in the game.

Has anyone noticed the awful framerate drops on PS4 during cutscenes? It turns into a stuttering mess and basically ruins the game.

Yup there's tons of it, the game needs a ton of optimization. It's not like it's a graphically intensive game either.

Same for me. Really annoying and distracting :-/
