The annual balloon-filled romp through Manhattan will feature an enormous turkey, a frog, a big bird and a fat, lazy cat. Somewhere in the mix there also will be Mrs. Santa ? portrayed by a man.

Fierstein said he had grown up watching the Macy's Thanksgiving parade. "When they asked me to be in it, I was so thrilled," he said in a telephone interview late Wednesday.
