Drafting tonight... have the 1st overall pick..

Peterson is a beast, but finished behind Michael Turner and DeAngelo Williams in points last season. This guy also scares me when it comes to injuries. Their center Birk is gone, and the attention whore favre will want to pad his stats as much as possible.

Michael Turner had a great season, but I have my doubts whether he can repeat last season's performance. 370+ carries is a lot of burn, regardless of how rested he was from his Chargers days. I'm not picking him.

MJD is too hot/cold for me. I've had him the past couple of years, and there has been many a time he didn't bother to show up. His OL stinks too.

Forte was terrific in his rookie season. 1200+ yards and 8 TDs rushing, ~500 + 4 TDs receiving. The Bears receiver options are weak, so Forte will be the primary focus again this season.

So who do I go with? I guess it's hard to go wrong either way, but it's hard to shy away from the consensus #1 pick in AD.

Peterson is consistent. He has a decent amount of fumbles, but he more than makes up for them. That's probably who'd I pick.

AP will be better in the first half of the season when he's fresh and defenses will still be respecting Farve and the passing game. 2nd half AP will break down, Farve will be exposed, teams will stack 8 in the box. The Bears will try to pass early on with Hester and Cutler. Mid-season they'll realize Cutler can't throw and Hester can't catch. The weather will get cold and they'll turn to the run more.

Result: AP will be better 1st half season, Forte 2nd half.

Physically, he can make the throws. Mentally, he's a milquetoast douche. His teammates already dislike him. He's calling people out and then backpedaling. Maybe I should have said "Cutler can't QB" or "Cutler can't win games". To me, it doesn't matter if you have a wet noodle arm (Danny Wuerffel) or are a moron (Jeff George), can't throw is the same as can't lead for a QB.

hahahah mmk, keep watchin espn and pretending to know what your talking about

Protip: Pick up Mcfadden in the late rounds if no one has grabbed him yet. Lorenzo Neal is his fullback so if even Mcfadden has one leg and cerebral palsy, he'll still have a decent year.

i'm a huge vikings fan, so i'd take peterson no matter what. however, if it's a PPR league, you might be better off going with forte.
