Dr. Who

I'm a fan, but I'm not a freak about it. I always watched it when I was a kid. I don't watch much TV anymore. Is it even still on?

LOL, M4H. I always like the John Baker days.

My PBS station used to show Dr. Who followed by 'Allo, 'Allo (funniest show ever), and then Children Of The Dog Star.
It was the best couple of hours on TV.

I used to love Dr. Who. Local PBS carried it and the either Red Dwarf or Black Adder. Tom Baker was my favorite, but Peter Davison was a close 2nd. Hey RossMAN, you found a hot deal on the DVD collection?

Yeah our local PBS also carried Dr. Who but I just now discovered that it's a BBC series, weird.

If you're looking for a DVD Hot Deal I suggest you mozy on over to DVDTalk.com or DVDPriceSearch.com

I may do that... it would be something I'd do just to annoy my wife. I've been buying her the different Star Trek TNG seasons. Now I need something for me.

I may be going on a tangent but Benny Hill was the best thing the BBC ever had. Dr. Who a close second. I remember many nights as a young lad staying up with father watching Dr. Who.

I agree.

Benny Hill was awesome and deserves his own thread!

I haven't seen it in years, used to watch every eposide I could. Great stuff. Other good series were John Cleeses Faulty Towers, Most anything by Rowen Atktinson ie Black Adder and Mr Bean. I have seen a few epsiods of Red Dwarf, would like to see more.

Of course there is always Red Geen.

I've seen a couple episodes here and there. Quite a cool show, definitely would like to see them all.

My favorites were Faulty Towers ("Que?") and The Goode Neighbors. The last one was a couple trying to make themselves self-sufficiant (no jobs) while still living in an urban dwelling (raising farm stock, using coal, etc.).
