One of my brothers watches that show and I agree with your assessment of people who watch that show... they are morons. I understand my brother has written to Dr. Phil too hoping to get me on his show ala Jerry Springer, etc... ain't gonna happen. :laugh:

Haven't checking out anything with Dr. Phil in years but I remember when he first entered the spotlight I thought, "Here's a fat man that has been divorced twice and he gives other people advice on dieting and relationships.... and people listen to him?"

I remember a couple of years ago, Dr. Drew Pinsky from 'Loveline' really ragged on Dr. Phil and said something to the effect that if people keep on listening to his (Dr. Phil) advice that somebody was going to wind up killing themselves. If I remember correctly, Dr. Drew's chief complaint was that Dr. Phil tries to dish out generic "feel good" advice for the masses, which is something - per Dr. Drew - that you really can not and should not do when it comes to counseling people with problems.
