I haven't tried this yet but according to their claims this software is perfect for a lazy slug like myself. Anyone used this yet or have any kind of feedback about the program in general? You can download it from divx.com .

Very handy. It surely beats any encoding software in terms of ease of use. It gives pretty good results and fast as well. It's the perfect encoding software for a newbie in video encoding. I have no need for it since I'm already very much used to using a combination of other software but Dr.Divx is a nice software combining the features/functions of several software in one package. Kind of pricey though.

Excellent! It does everything, except ripping the VOB files from disk. Give it a try.

It does seem pretty nice so far, I've just messed around with a couple smaller files so far. Anyone know of a way to take the DivX watermark off of encoded videos? Thanks guys---

Go to "Programs" > "DivX" > "DivX Pro Codec" > "Decoder configuration"

Quality Settings > Disable Logo.

I'm afraid this only works for the Pro version?? Anyway, if you purchase Dr. DivX, the Pro version comes bundled with it.
