Dr Color Chip - anyone tried it?

I want to fix a couple minor chips here & there and I'm just wondering if anyone has had experience with this stuff. It sounds good on paper and a few other reviews that I've seen online (youtube, etc).

But say you, AT Garage?

I know that it does seem like overpriced touch-up paint and a TV spot ad, but just curious what y'all have to say about it.

It didn't work too well for me, but then again I let mine sit around for 2 years and get super thick.

I've used it and I can say it does work pretty damn well, especially considering how cheap and easy it is to do. I've heard the results vary with your paint color.

Do a quick google search and you will see tons of different posts on numerous car forums with personal experiences and photos.

I think its worth it. May not be as good as a respray or pro job but for what it is it works wonders IMO.

I used it on some rock chips, so far so good. You cannot see it from about 5 feet away, and I just wanted to stop it from rusting, until I decide I should just repaint the whole hood.

I used the $6 touch up paint from AutoZone and it worked well on the dozen or so pebble sized chips on my hood. They sold the specific color for my paint.

and it doesn't work nearly as well.

Dr color chip works great. If you get the technique down, it will amaze you. regular touch up paint is always noticable. Dr. color chip fills more evenly and really looks seemless vs a "touchup"
