Thanks fo rthe stats, Johan. 😀

Time to do something about Free-DC, isn't it? Or should we let them take 2nd place? :Q

Thanks for that link, Peter! I'm just running it on my FX-55 right now. Anything special to watch out for when I bring the dual-cores on this evening?

I also saw the link at Free-DC to run it as a service, but that's an old version so I'm just running it manually/graphically for now.

OK, I think I've got this sorta figured out except for the dual core stuff. I'll need some assist there, though I'm sure there is a tutorial somewhere.

BTW, I just did a manual dump so I'm "on the board". 🙂

I'm flat out.

I see Silverthorne has started crunching again. He's a big cruncher. 😎 It looks like Z started crunching too. 😀

We need to rally up some more members.

Once I flush the NanoHive WU's from BOINC, I'll have ~15 more cores to add. Hopefully, that will help...

edit: speeling. 🙂

OK, I just added the Pentium 805 D in my sig. Kinda sad how much faster it is than the FX-55. :brokenheart:

The OC'ed Opty 165 will go on in about an hour. The OC'ed 6300 tomorrow morning and the rest of the quick boxes on Monday. w00t!

Yes, it is. DPAD just rechecks to make sure these results are valid. But you get points for each run.

Sorry, I missed this post. In the Config.txt, the number of threads are set to 'auto' so it will automatically use any, and all cores in the system. You will probably want to change the priority from low to background though.

Also, for greatest speed you will want to run the background version. Graphically is about 10x slower. also Free-DC's very good stats are here.

Thanks Dustin. I noticed the graphics mode was slow as molasses, so I've switched all machines to background with B set on the one box that gets used, and N on the 24/7 crunchers.

So. Is the network dump automatic? I'm assuming so from this line:

Auto-send results ([Y]es, [N]o): Y

How often does it upload?

Thanks for the assist for the n00b, folks... 😉

OK the difference between N and B is less then 1%, so just be aware of that. This just makes your computers useable if you need them. Dumping occurs once your results.txt file reaches ~100k as long as auto send is set to yes.

I hope that helps. As far as running DPAD as a service, I'm lazy and just put 'muon1background.exe' in the startup folder. 😛

Hey caferace, excellent output 48,149 as of rite now. You are on the second page of the link I gave you. You will also only be on the second page for about a day with your output.

Awesome crunching Jim! 😀

Your output is surpassing mine.

I have 2 C2D's, three AX2's, and 2 single core A64's rite now. So I basically have 10 fast cores online (Ialso have borged several slower machines).

AFAIK Silverthorne, and Amdxborg have access to fleets. 😉

Dustin

7 cores added during the passed 3 hours. Now a total of 9 cores. More coming up ... as soon as BOINC-projects are done. 🙂

Awesome Peter! We need to fend this off! I'm also working on getting a few more ppl online, and crunching. 😉
