Depends on what you've eaten, how much you exercise, how hard you exercise, the type of exercise (low-impact, high-impact), your current metabolic rate....

Um.....it depends what you're doing and how hard you're doing it. You can burn as much as 1,000 kcal per hour if you're doing something like nordic skiing at "race pace".
Best bet is to get a heart rate monitor that measures caloric output so you know exactly what you're up to.
