Im currently using a QX2710 monitor 1440p @ 97hz, running on my 290. My new RX480 only has HDMI and DP. Are there any adapters out there that will allow me to use the 480 and still OC my monitor, or will I be stuck at 1440p @ 60Hz?

Update 7/14/16:

Unfortunately I've had no luck getting an adapter to work on my 480 + Qnix2710. I tried two different adapters, both listed as being "Active" and supporting up to 4k @ 30hz. Both were of the non-powered variants. I picked one up from Microcenter, one from Amazon. The one from amazon has a handful of reviewers whom it worked for using the same monitor. They both exhibit the same flickering horizontal lines across the screen. Even picked up a spare DL-DVI cable to use with the adapters to make sure that wasnt the issue.

You have to use an "active" adapter that uses USB connection to provide the extra conversion power, they are like $80 :\

If your monitor doesn't support Display port, I'd return the 480 and wait for a custom 480 version to come out that does include a DVI port.

Thanks for the info and links. Those powered adapters are awfully pricey. I knew going in to the reference 480 I was going to have to get an adapter of some sort, but I completely overlooked having the ability to still OC my monitor.

That 480 is awfully slick looking.
