I have a bad habit of working until I am exhausted and then just crawling into bed and passing out.. then waking up about now having left the lights, half my clothes and computer on. it's a wonder i made it into my bed, really.

do you guys do this or do you actually properly get ready for bed?

98% of the trime I do it properly, somertimes I fall asleep for a bit (hour or so) in bed, wake up, and do irt properly.

I find that unless I'm completly exhausted I can't fall alseep with the lights or the TV on.

My wife and son on the other hand can sleep anytime / anywhere.

I sometimes fall alseep with my lights on if I fall asleep with watching TV at night. I usually get ready properly, but if I watch TV at night I have a high tendency to fall asleep with both computers on, TV on, lights on.

For me properly is brushing my teeth, and sleeping with the TV on all night. For some reason, I can't sleep in darkness and silence.

i cannot sleep in clothes so i have to "get ready for bed". i like to brush my teeth, wash my face, put lotion on before i get too tired, but i cannot just fall asleep in the living room and sleep there throughout the night.

Lotion? How can you women stand putting greasy stuff on your skin, and especially going to sleep with it on?

I turn off the lights and THEN crawl into bed and pass out.

When I was in middle school, I used to sleep with the light on simply because I preferred it. Now I don't.

I use a nightlight. I don't take a shower, but I change my clothes. And yes, I turn off the lights, because the one in my room is blaring.

I can sleep wih the light on, but its low quality sleep, and all hell'l break loose when I wake up. Generally, the only good sleep I get is in complete darkness and complete silence, unless I'm really exhausted.

i go to sleep with the tv on......cant sleep with in silence

also no clothes for me....usually go to bed starkers....feels very good in just washed sheets!
