Whenever we flush the toilet upstairs, one big air bubble comes out of the downstairs toilet.
Normally when it starts doing this, its time to empty the septic tank. I did this last week. Cost was $260.
Unfortunately it did not resolve the bubbling issue.
I did a test by filling up the upstairs bathtub to the rim and emptying it. It drained normally with no bubbles coming out of the downstairs toilet. Just a bit of water movement in the bowl. There was no water backing up.
I suspect the air vent on the roof might be clogged.
Any ideas?
