downloading redhat 7.x ??? where

=) thank for that redhat site.. i am just having hardtime finding ISO file . =)
can you give me direct link plz.. that would be great..
so i can just download 1 file and burn it to CD.

It's Two iso images for the whole os, and the FTP site provides powertools and everything else you'll need.

which files do i need to download??
i am really new to this linux thingy..
file sizes seems so small?

i am running intel P3 800 machine.

if you have a newer vid card, download the beta verson. it will save you the trouble of upgrading xfree86 to 4.02. the newest is wolverine. get the wolverine-disc1 & disc2 iso images. as an added bonus, the installer seems a lot faster too.

Go for an .edu site nearby. If they've banned napster they've got plenty of bandwith to chew up :)

you don't need redhat disc 2 iso - I never used anything from it and everything was fine. get it anyway if you have the bandwidth though, there is some potentially useful stuff. I recommend getting 7.0 and upgrading kernel and glibc manually since 7.1 is beta. unless you are into beta, then 7.1 is fine.
