downloading rar files from ftp giving crc error

I am having an issue where downloading rar files of an ftp, in a multi rar set, has crc errors on 1-2 files every time. No matter how many times I try I get crc error on the same files. I know the files on the server are complete and crc checked. So its something with my network. I am connected wirelessly through a dlink 655 router with spi firewall disabled. my wireless pci adapter is the trendnet tew-443pi model. I have no issue downloading the same files from torrents or newsgroups or http.
