Downloaded RedHat + Oracle 9i = ?

Isn't Oracle 9i supported on a standard RedHat downloaded ISO? Or do I realy have to buy a RedHat Enterprise Linux version? Will WS (workstation) do, or do I have to get the ES version?

Depends on your definition of support.

Oracle 9i works fine on workstation operating systems. But if you need official support from RH or Oracle, then you'll probably need to buy the server edition.

When you say "workstation operating systems" - do you mean Redhat Enterprise Linux WS or the freely available RedHat (8, 9 isn't supported)?
