Pretty awesome multiplayer WWII wargame. Free for the download. 360 Megs, not for the faint of heart.

Thanks for the post, I'll try it tonight, I love downloading large files just to see how long it takes me. 😛

Dang...using download accelerator I am "only" getting 345 KB/Sec.... network must be busy since it's lunch time 🙂

I'm trying an experiment. Using DirectCD (makes a CD Burner like a HD so you can drop files to/from it), I am downloading the file directly to CD. 🙂 The burner has "burn-proof", so it should work...probably result in 1x speed as the temp dir AND target dir are set to the CD!!!! hhehehe 🙂

As you can tell, it's a slow day at work....

It's a turn based stratagy for war history buffs (you can replay actual historic battles) and hardcore stratagy players. Very in depth and somewhat confusing at first, give it a few hours to grow on you.

BTW it wasn't my cup of tea, but they did a HELL of a job with the game, lots 'o love went into it.

keep in mind that it's in older dos based game and although i'm a wargamer it's not one of my favorites.....it's seems to have quite a following though.

I tried 5 times to download it , at different daytimes, and couldn't get a complete download!
Does anybody know the FTP spec's so I could get it via FTP?

That one I had, but what is the user/pw settings?

Getright must be some sord of spyware, they connected to several websites without even notifing me. Zonealarm would go havoc.
No thanks on that one.

an older dos game huh? any luck running it in win2k? some work but most dont so im not getting my hopes up.

Interesting about Getright, better check that out. I do know they check for a newer version.

Just anonymous/anypw. ftp/ftp might work too.
