It's a waterfall chart of the LFE track in the disc. The color represents the volume. Blue being lowest and Pink being the highest. Vertical axis is time, horizontal is frequency. Below 80hz is where most people with decent HT systems are going to start crossing over to their sub (or lower if they have more robust speakers).

Normally Pink is pretty rare in a track, this one has plenty of it. Not that it really matters, since you would just adjust your volume when the movie starts, but in a case like this where it's surrounded by demo tracks that aren't as hot, it stands out more. Below 30hz is what most of the population is missing with their subwoofers (and it could be much worse depending on what you have).

When you get into very low Hz, you'll feel your hair move and so forth (if you have a decent enough sub for your room size). My SVS 20-39 PC+ was trying, but my current theater location is just too big for it to really get it pressurized well. If I have a similar situation in my new place I'm going to have to buy a second one

(I think it's the Incredibles plane scene before the Flight of the Phoenix demo starts)
You can see there's just a hint of pink in the largest explosion of the scene compared to the Flight of the Phoenix track. If you set it up to what you're used to for the Incredibles scene, when the Flight of the Phoenix clip starts, it's going to be louder since it's a hotter track.

Yep, Incredibles is GREAT demo disk.

God use of surrounds and simply awesoem LFE.

I have a foreign DTS version and sounds awesome, especially the LFE on my 525w SVS 16-46pc+ sub!

sorry all, but - i will be not running the tracker much longer. swither has an excellent upload setup and the amount i am personally uploading, although i am sure very small to swither is going to get my isps attention (~20GB in 5 days...). i was hoping more people would join in and share the bandwidth, but thats cool, sorry it didn't work out as planned.

if anybody wants to upload via the tracker let me know as hosting it is not a problem since the machine it is on is on 24/7/365 anyway, but the bandwidth of seeding is going to get me noticed...

My fav sound test now is this radiohead glastonbury live concert video I have.
It always sounded pretty mediocre on my speakers. And don't think I have some cheapo $30 logitech tincans, I have pretty decent speakers.. Swan M200, Velodyne VX10 subwoofer.
Recently, I got a headphone amp for my Etymotic ER-4P. I tried to watch the video again.. All of the sudden, it was like, I opened up the third dimension of sound. I was instantly transported into the video.
Everything sounded so discreet. It's like I could not only hear each sound distinctly, but I could hear where it's coming from too.
I'm in love with my earphones now.. especially after I got the P to S conversion cable, that made the highs much more clearly.

BTW I have a few audiophile reference CD's my neighbor gave me.
One's called Audiophile Reference IV and one is called McIntosh Reference.
I like many of the songs on there. It brought me interest in some very weird songs. But I often find myself listening to it.. not because it's a great tune, but for the sound experience. I no longer just listen to music.. but I experience it.
I especially love this one live recording of a jazz piece on there. I could imagine it takes place in a restaurant.

aw man... I was really digging these demo discs. I'm going keep sharing what I've got, DISC 1 and 2 for a few more days... had to shut the PC down as I was doing some upgrades. Gonna start seeding again the 2 discs.

If you could release these on another P2P that would be awesome. I would love to pickup a few more demo discs as I really enjoyed the others. Thnx!
