I am downloading a 187MB file at 600-700KB/sec!!! Should take a total of.......5 MINUTES!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!! It peaked at about 800KB/sec, which is 5.6Megabits!!! Damn!!!! My cable rocks!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Damn, the highest I've seen my 56k at it about 6kb/s. :(
One day a cable line might be installed around here. Doesn't look too soon though.

well i been using flashget for quite awhile, unlimited download threads, very fast, low resource usage, stable, never had it crash in all the time i used it!!, lotsa of options. etc etc... try it you will love it, wayyyyyy better than Download Accelerator.....

Flashget is better, but it's interface is less than intuitive.

I have found DAP to be a bit unstable under Win2k

Personally, i'm still using old Getright

I should warn you that the Flashget and DAP both contain adware or spyware. If you don't mind the mothership knowing what your downloading go ahead and use the program.


I like DAP better myself, flashget is a pain in the butt to use but gozilla is still the most feature rich. For short fast downloads I use DAP, for longer downloads I use gozilla.

After having used Gozilla, Download Accelerator and Getright, I now prefer NetVampire.

DAP couldn't even download some .iso files. Everytime I tried I got an 'out of memory' error.

NetVampire rocks :D
