I caught this cold yesterday night. I feel terrible. You know how it feels when you have a cold. I have some important classes to attend tomorrow. I want to get well fast. What should I do? Any suggestions?

Some colds last a certain length of time no matter what you do. Rest and fluids should help shorten the lifespan, and some OTC medication might help alleviate symptoms and make the duration of the cold more tolerable. The fact that you're posting at this time suggests that you should be in bed instead of on the computer.

Overdose on Sprite, take medicine for colds, and keep your butt in the bag. Jello is good too, maybe some Ramen noodles. Don't forget a hot steamy shower! This stuff always makes me feel at least 50% better, no matter how bad I feel.

Time. Nothing else will cure a cold. But stay hydrated and get rest.

Yeah, I'm just getting over one. My dad brought it home from his trip to Michigan, then I got it, now my mother has it. Its the type that causes all that sticky crud to build in your lungs, and you hack and hack as if you were trying to bring tar up from the deepest caverns of your lungs - gurgley kind of congestion. Not nice. My ears were even filled with fluid - otitis media.

You need to get that crazy O.J. concentrate. I think minute maid makes it...it has like 250% Vitamin C per serving so if you drink the whole thing you get like 1600% of your daily vitamin c requirements. Then your body turns to acid and it kills the germs.

I recommend that and some multivitamins and a lot of water. You will get better soon and you wont be sick for a long time after that.
