down to picking between 2 monitors, help please

hi all,

i am looking at the viewsonice a90+ and the nec fe991sb. both are priced within $25 of each other. i was looking at the samsung 900nf but wasn't too sure. any opinons? thanks.

I can't seem to find the a90+ on viewsonic's website. there's an a90 and an a90f+ . Personally i would choose the NEC one because of its specs and appearance. Just my 2 cents.

my apologies, i did mean the a90f+...sometimes the trigger finger to the enter key is faster than the mind...

my viewsonic 22" p220f screen is beautiful...i don't know if that will mean that their 19" models look good as well tho.

compare specs, then take price into account.

i would get whichever screen can show the highest resolution at the highest refresh rate. look for 1600x1200@75hz+.

I have a nec fe991sb. Very nice. Can do 1280x1024 at 89Hz. Has a "super bright mode" button which is good in games where people like to hide in dark corners and junk.

Has some cool "NaviSet" software that lets you adjust the screen settings with your MOUSE and not the cumbersome buttons on the monitor.

i have a samsung 900nf it kicks nads, but since not one of your choices i think you should go for the nec. those monitors are nice looking.

i would consider the samsung 900nf if it's better. i have no real brand preference. just want something nice.

i believe that the samsung 900nf is able to do higher resolutions. but i doubt you'd use the higher resolutions.
