Doughnuts, whats your favorite?

Boston Cream or anything chocolate. I haven't had a donut in a dogs age though.

BTW the only good donut is a nice, fattening, rich, heavy canadian donut. Not that fluffed up crap you get down south. 😉
 
WSPTrooper, those doughnuts ROCK, definatly my favorite kind. We get them from nickels bakery here, I think its a midwest thing.

I'm still hesitant to reply to any doughnut threads for fear of the original post being edited to something about child porn 😛
 
My favorite topic. Just to let you know the technical name is "Power Rings"! I'll take an old fashioned please.
 
Blueberry (gotta be powdered not glazed) or raspberry filled from Krispy Kreme. 🙂

Also, glazed sour cream (dunno why Krispy Kreme calls them this, they are called old fashioned by everyone else), apple fritters, and custard filled are goodies as well.
 
are the ones without the holes in the middle still considered donuts?
or would that be considered just bread? or danish?

word - i never understood the fuss because I got them once right before they closed and they were nothing special... then someone brought hot ones to work... i coulda eaten a dozen...
 
The fact that an officer of the law started this thread will amuse me for hours.

I love Krispy Kreme's, but my favorite donut is maple. Just a basic donut with icing (Dunkin Donuts), but they are just damn good with a cup of joe.

Boston cremes and butternuts are darn good too.
