After an hour of playing games on a console system, like a PS2, I start getting this weird double. Basically when I look at something it makes a "translucent" copy of itself on top of the object, and the farther away it gets the more the image sepeartes from the original object. This does not happen when I play games on the PC or watch TV though. Lived with it my whole liFe, so I am used to it when it happens but should I get it checked out?

Normally I have 20/20 vision, dont wear glasses.

That is definately not normal. You should consult an optomitrist immediately and discontinue playing console games until after your visit.

why on earth would you think its NOT normal. obviously somethings wrong with your eyes. stop starring at screens until you can see a doctor, unless you want to go blind, then by all means keep playing playstation.
