I am very selective do to space limitations of the current storage media.

This will be used just as much as DSDL DVD's are at the moment. In other words the end user will only see a 25GB version, then maybe a 250GB version.

People are currently working on optical storage devices, that have no moving parts, and are going to be capable of holding terabytes of information. They should be coming out in the next few years.
