double-click syndrome

argh, sometimes i click something once, but i end up clicking it twice. happens once every 100 clicks or so. results in double posts on some message boards.
 
I know people who double-click on every link, icon, whatever. They'll have Windows set to hyper-link mode (single clicks open stuff) and still double-click. Makes me want to smack them twice.
 
No, but sometimes I find I just click the mouse on a dead area. I'll be reading something or some such, and just be clicking the mouse for no reason...... 😕
 
for some reason, i CONSTANTLY right click on normal mice. i normally use a trackball and i guess i'm too used to it.
 
i've always changed it to web based single click options,
so never had a problem with double clicking all the time.

but I have seen friends and family members who do not use the PC too often tend to do that
maybe its like instilled that u have to click twice to open the file or something 😛
 
Yes, but only because of my carpal tunnel. Sometimes my middle finger will decide to click at the same time as my index because of it too.
