Works with Palm V series with an optional Dock V adaptor, sold seperately. Text I think this the only option you have currently for PalmPix on the V series.

Ok, This is a COLOR camera, it just shows up as greyscale on the non-color Palms. Here is an actual photo taken with the PalmPix. Click on the link to the right to see the source photo.

This camera came out last summer at $179.99. The photos download from the Palm thru the HotSync cradle or the USB adaptor. This is a cool "Toy" that does have some real world applications.

You could take a picture of that Hottie two cubicles away from you that you are too scared to talk to. At least you would have a photo of her/him.

It would also take nice photos to send on the WEB, which is probably its most useful ability.

If you have a with Palm III?, IIIc?, IIIe?, IIIx?, IIIxe?, VII ?, IBM Workpad, or TRGpro, this would be a cool addition to your Palm.

Good price, considering that they came out at $180 6 months ago. Of course, one has to ask why the price has dropped so dramatically... Probably because it is a gimmicky camera. I bought one and tried it out and returned it. Ended up getting a 1.3 mp Canon S10 zoom for $170 on clearance at OM -=- seriously fine camera.

PalmPix was a pain to try to frame a pic with my IIIx, you have to use your lcd screen as the viewfinder and it isn't very exact and it is slow. The fact that it is in low res black and white doesn't help either (the pics are actually in decent color tho).

$60 is about the right price for it, I may have kept it for that price, about the right price for a low res camera.

Good deal from what I see. I missed this post earlier and was going to post it myself, so I checked with pricewatch, lowest price there is $80. I just need to get myself a newer palm, my PalmPilot Professional doesn't take all of these new and cool gadgets. I guess thats what I get for buying cutting edge technology when it first came out . Now if PalmInc would only just get a tradein program going...
