$189.99

I searched for both "dotd" and "iomega" and didn't find it. Its an okay deal, but when coupled with a coupon, it is pretty good.

These drives do have BurnProof as well. I picked one up at Office Depot a couple of months ago for 199.00 and have had no problems with it at all.

PM with Staples, since it's DOTD they shouldn't charge anything extra for shipping right? $189.99 - $40.00 coupon = $149.99, saves $10.

I am pretty sure that these do NOT have burn-proof. Hence
the closeout price. I wouldn't bother.

No. Check that link. Only the 12-10-32 burner has burn-proof. This
is a 12-4-32 burner. No burn proof. Only proof that if you're
not paying attention you'll burn through your money for inferior
products!

its still a pretty good deal, all things considered. burners have just dropped in price a lot, considering their speed.

I own the Iomega 12/4/32 and it HAS Burnproof. So far 50+ discs while doing any variety of things and no coasters.

Some one suggested to price match with STAPLES and get $10 more in savings. For most of us Staples charges Sales tax which is almost
$10 to $14+ so it is better to buy from buy.com. (some of you where you are taxed by buy.com may consider the hassle to save $10 more)

Just my .00002 cents

I don't know about CloneCD, but the one that I purchased on Oct 1, 2000 does have BurnProof and had it prominently marked on the front of the box. I wish that Buy.com would show the retail packaging so that we could know for sure.

Unknowndude,

The Model #31120 is for the 12/10/32. We are trying to determine what the model number is for the 12/4/32 with BurnProof. The website says that the 12/4/32 has BurnProof. They do not say if they all do or if only select 12/4/32 burners have it. That is the problem that several people are having with this deal.

That's the correct code, it just doesn't work now. I guess they fixed it. It was meant for, and I used it for a yamaha 8x/4x/24x drive.
