im sure this has been beaten to death but can anyone elucidate me plz?

-must play colonization 😀

Most DOS games won't work because they try to access the hardware directly which isn't allowed in modern OSes.

uhh so any workarounds or emulators or anythign?

I don't know about video, but there are a few really good audio emulators.

I used to use a few, basically they emualte a old soundblaster from whatever card you have in there right now. worked pretty well too (even rolant gt32 i think), just looked through my archive, and i've since purged all that stuff.

I have since moved on, there's only so much old Realms of the Haunting and Master of Magic one can play, especially compared to the new stuff.

The best solution for this is to grab yourself a suitably old computer from ebay or somewhere 🙂
