Interesting - DOS will not "see" a CD-ROM drive, until drivers are loaded. I wonder if this would be a problem.

if you use nero to create the bootable cd, then it asks you to insert a "bootable disk" in drive A: and it takes the files off the floppy and uses them to make the cd bootable
if the floppy has cdrom drivers installed then the bootable cd will boot to dos and the cdrom will work (it will be drive D: assuming you only have 1 harddrive)
if the floppy doesnt have cdrom drivers then once you boot the system then you still have access to the cdrom, but its A:
