Cable modem? Why don't you have T1 or T3 Connections?

Building's to old for the school to invest in that. Sucks big time all the other buildings have a T3. Even my girlfriend (that had to ask her roommate last year how to take her disk out of the computer).

So I'm stuck paying $40 a month while she pays $45 a semester.

Your in college, you are supposed to be thinking of ways to solve problems. You have the wireless stuff, now figure a way to use it to connect into one of the "T3" buildings. Bonus points for doing it without being caught by campus net police.

well obviously I don't NEED wireless.

But, my roomate and I both have laptops and I love surfing on my bed. Our room is quite big though (14'6" x 13' ). Aso good that the walls are cement blocks so I don't really need to worry about others hacking in.
Now I can print from my bed without hooking up. Man, gotta love this.

Oh ya, all networked also... God I love this year so far
