Dork == Geek?

Stupid topic, but my girlfriend said they are both the same thing and I said no they aren't. Are they the same thing?

Geek is usually a bit higher tech than a dork IMO, but fairly interchangable.

They are not the same thing although one person can be both. For example, your girlfriend is a dork and you are a geek. You post on a tech board and she just says stupid things, lol. I am both... a dork for responding to this thread and a geek for knowing the difference.
