High and mighty?, hardly, I'm a peon factory supervisor, vanity and mightiness completely elude me, just leave people alone in their own damm homes, that's all I'm saying, really, all cities should ban this shit unless a permit is obtained first. Jesus Christ man, just calm down, you'd be surprised.. Sometimes companies like ATT, Verizon, etc. go door to door with special residential rates that are better than advertised elsewhere. Tons of kids selling candy and cookies, people just doing their fucking peon jobs like your job at the factory, trying to get by, you ever thought they do it because that's all most of them could find?

I'd egg the fucking shit out of your house if you screamed at me for walking up to your door.

Is your wife always sleeping? you said that like 50 times already. my parents would put a small note on their door back in the day saying not to ring bell / knock on door, and it WORKS, doesn't have to be nasty, just large letters right on the door and you're good to go.

A Trugreen salesman came to my door the other day also. I must have easily received over 20 fliers at my door for lawncare service and I told him that. When times are tough, the last thing I am going to do is hire lawncare service.

Bullshit, Wendy's, Mc'd's are always hiring and my wife has serious medical problems, that's why she was sleeping but your right on one account, I need a sign and I'm putting one up this weekend and if I'm a grump so be it, if you don't use my home as a sales event there won't be a problem. I had a telemarketing job for one week (Rainsoft), it was the worst week of work in my entire life and that was just calling people never mind knocking on their doors..
