Is there a cheap and easy fix for this or do I have to buy a new oem molding?

I had this happen to my car. One piece bent, so it had to be replaced. They other was just detaching. I believe they just reapplied glue and slapped it right back on there.

So long as it has no creases, you should be fine to get it reattached.

3M body trim adhesive tape would take care of that. Just make sure you line it up right the first time...

Also make sure to clean the surfaces well before you start, dust/grease will ruin your day.

Do I have to remove the trim first to do this? Just pry it off?

I would take it off and clean the surface area till its spotless. Then lay down the 3m adhesive tape. If its only a very small area you could probably get away with cleaning just the problem area with a buffer zone of a few inches on either side cuz that ahhesive is probably about to go.
