DOOM3's other website

Well it's been owned by ID since 2001 so i assume that it'll have more behind it upon release of the game.

id was initially going to have this as a gateway to an on-line service, like Blizzard's Battle.net. I think that might have fell through, I dont recall.

Anyone else notice the other "transport" dates? They seem to intersect the obrital at a later time than 4409 (which is Doom 3's "transport"). Could this have some significance?

Ah, meaning it should be coming in a bit earlier than HL2 then. Or is it the last transport??? 😱

I think the UAC website is used within the actual game. The PC Gamer review mentioned something to that effect.

Think Doom3 will be a dissapointment cause of all the hype? I hope it lives up the the amazing expectations everyone has for it.

I worry about that sometimes as well. I found this short video on planetdoom last night and it totally whet my appitite all over again. It's a low quality peek of what it looks like when you go through a portal and it is Awesome! It also shows what berzerk looks like. It really did reinvigorate my hopes.😀 The guy was running fraps at the time so it's a bit choppy but you get the drift.

Well i just figured out that the UA-corp website uses your system clock. I moved the time forward an hour when the page was open and it changed the time on the page so i tried again and it locked up my machine. After a restart i changed the date to the 3rd and opened the website and it said transport arrived but nothing further.
