Doom3 on OS X?

Ok, I know there's a "PC" gaming forum, but this seems like it'd fit here more since there are very few mac games.

I have a copy of doom3 for windows, anyone know if this key works w/ a mac version of doom3.. and more importantly, if there's a way to download the full game.. heh.

I really don't want to pay again for this since I bought it when it came out... just.. never really played it.

Or, if anyone knows where I can get it for like <$10 shipped 🙂

And no, I'm not playing it virtualized. That was a terrible attempt, haha... nor boot camp. I'm a lazy SOB.
 
The data files are platform agnostic so you might be able to download the trial version and then replace them with the data files from the CD. I have no idea whether that's a violation of the license or not though.
 
heh, I don't think it quite works that way. I dunno how to get out of all the demo junk, ha. Oh well... anyone want to trade a pc version for a mac version 🙂
 
All previous id games have worked that way, the demo and the full version were the exact same binary but the demo's data (.wad, pk3, etc) only contained the first few maps in the demo.
 
Yeah, I know the drill on the old school demos. This seems to look specifically for the demo pak. if i sub in the actual game ones, or try renaming, no go.
