There's no chance that Doom III will be available by this November. Companies always do that to suck away your preorder dollars and prevent competitors from getting the sale. I always have a good laugh when I see ridiculously early release dates posted at a software retailer's site.

well ID software have always kept to their 2 year development cycle. Not sure if this time will be different. They do always release their games at christmas though (December is more likley I think).

I don't think that they announced Doom 3 that long ago. Not 100% sure though.
