there are two or three vocal D3 supporters in Software forums. . .. Doom3 is a horrible game . . . John Carmack's Daikatana :disgust:

HL2 is a very good game!

Another siggestion for a GREAT FPS - Chronicles of Riddick: EfBB(DC) . . . cheap too!
(if a little short)

 
Doom 3 was great, but HL2 set a high water mark. Both are definitely great games (don't let the tards who hate the game because they can't take it in it's own terms turn you off). CS:S is overrated, and people will whitewash the flaws in HL2, but if I had to pick JUST ONE, then HL2 was the better experience.

That said, people who say either game was bad are fools.
