Yeah, I'd say Rage187 was a VERY nice guy for responding after the HOT HEADED response from icyredsol8181!

Maybe Rage187 and icyredsol8181 are ONE AND THE SAME person...you know, split personalities? You know it's a really bad idea to "fight with yourself" since YOU never can really win the fight!

If you notice in my reply stating his problem was because he was using reference drivers, there is an EDIT.

What I EDITED out wasnt very nice, and I knew it right away. I changed it to be something helpful.

I'm trying, lord I'm trying.

I know what you mean...I once ALMOST sent a co-worker a "rude" e-mail response because he was potentially putting me in a tough spot with a client of mine regarding project timing/price. As I was responding to an e-mail in a rather rude way, my temper cooled off and I made the e-mail "firm" yet still professional. As it turned out, it was a good thing because I inadvertently also forwarded the above e-mail to the actual client! It would have been most embarrassing to me for my client to read such an unprofessional e-mail!

So, I guess it pays to keep a "cool head" even in a text message:)

Vsync could be a big problem if you are running at a low refresh rate as you don't have triple buffering.

I do SQA for a local gaming company.

This whole week the same engineer has released a bug to testing only to have it fail 5 freakin times in the exact same manor.

I was going to send a nasty email but decided I should go over there and say what I had to in person. When we talked about it, we both ended up laughing about the bug and sat down and buddy programmed our way through it in 2hr's.

In the long run it saved us both alot of time, and probably a weekend worth of verification.

Keeping a cool head does make a difference, even when its over something stupid.

If you motherboard has overclocking options raise the fsb and cpu speed. I would try for 182MHz fsb and a nice even 2000MHz, memory and motherboard permitting, this should be very easy.
