ok heres my setup:
2500xp
1024 pc 2700
leadtek 6800gt

i will be playing the single player game and i get alot of dragging of the graphics, at first i set the settings at ultra, thought that was the problem......then i put them on high, but still the same. i have allt he setting on yes besides the v sync and the aa to 2x. i would think the card i have would run this game alot better.

if your running it at 1600x1200 then the 2500xp and the 2700 ram is a huge big ass bottle-neck.

Your CPU and RAM are a bit on the slow side. Have you tried turning off the AA entirely? Doom3 is just as dependent on CPU and memory speeds as it is on GPU speeds.

You should be using the drivers from Nvidia, which last I checked were the 61.77's.

Although the 65.62's are good as well.

Thats your first problem.

The drivers that shipped w/ your card were released 3-4 months ago.

How bad exactly is "alot of dragging of the graphics". It could be your processor and memory.

if thats what it defaults to, then its fine.

The GT's OC pretty well w/o having to up the voltage, so I would not suggest messing w/ them unless you know exactly what you are doing.

My GT did 390/1100 on air out of the box, and has been rock solid since I bought it. No change in voltage was needed.
