This just in from the Activision conference call. They're expecting the Doom 3 expansion pack (DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil ) to come out at the "end of the March quarter".

Obviously, id makes the call on this and the date is tenuous at best, but FYI...

(first post of a fan of Doom, followed by people that feel the need to say that doom 3 is too dark and boring and repetitive i'm sure.)
 
An expansion for a very boring game, but nice engine. I quit playing in the delta labs. I can only take triggered "boo" event for so long, it gets old.
 
Doom 3 is too dark and boring and repeti........oh, sorry modeps 😀. Just posted this up on Gamer's Pouch, and headed here to see if anyone posted it here yet. Like I commented there, I hate the fact they just now are adding 8 players to multiplayer, when it seems like this could've been done in the first place. Just a ploy to get people to buy the expansion, no doubt.

I hate to break it to you, but I just got off a server with 6 people playing with a maximum amount of players of 10.

EDIT: Also hoping I hear of more new stuff besides a double-barreled shotgun. Drastically different environments would be a plus.
 
Lots of mention about the Delta Labs. I have been in this level past 1 month. Been playing maybe 30 min a week, this game is just not holding my attention long enough

Well, I do not play multiplayer Doom 3 a whole helluva lot (actually, only once), so my bad.

The DB shotgun will be fun and hopefully a railgun will be added too. Also I hope we get to kill the director; fighting that bad-ass Dragon would be fun.
