Doom 3 CD-Key

I got this free copy of Doom 3 from BFG when I got my 6800GT, and the CD-key they gave me is weird. When setup asks for a CD-Key, the boxes go as: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xx, and the one BFG gave me goes: xxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxx /xxxxx. So weird, I have no clue what to do and I really wanna play some D3.

You didn't say whether you'd taken the obvious steps:
1. did you check the BFG website?
2. did you try just typing the digits, since you don't actually type the dashen?

1. Yes I did, they don't have anything.
2. Yes I did, the digits are off. Count em.

The number is not the one on the outside of the case...look on the other side of that number, inside the case.
