We all are going to be treated very well this year to some awesome game releases. It just seems like forever though, but I'm quite sure it will be worth the wait. It better!!!! I personally have not seen such anticipation since Unreal and HL. When I think about it though those two games where more of a suprise rather than anticipation.

As for people getting pissed off about this message thread - you deserve it! If you actually took the time to read the first post in the thread you'd see that WicKeD was just quoting a Gamestop review, typed up by another joker who obviously didn't have the game, but wanted to see how many children he could fool and get them all worked up!

How can you not read the following:

just got it yesterday in an old bin at my local threft shop, thought the cover looked pretty cool so i threw it in the cart, paid only 5 dollars and 35 cents for it, came home and played it for over 40 hours in 1 sitting, it is super and the graphix are amazing!

and not see that it's a (very funny) prank? Nobody being serious says stuff like "it is super and the graphix are amazing!"

I did read the first thread. This thread should be locked right now because it is doing nothing useful. It has nothing to do with video hardware either. It doesn't deserve to be in these forums but if it made it here it should be in the software forum.

Also how the hell is he quoting an article without quotes!?!? Last time i checked you needed some sort of quote citing.

As for successful posts, i hate it when peeople post and it contributes nothing to the discussion going on. My example in my previous post hits is right on the nose. If you have nothing productive to say the shut the hell up!! Same goes for posting threads, if it has nothing to with the topic of the forum, and all it is doing is pissing people off then dont post it!!!! Succesful posting is when you post something pertaining to the artcile and the post has some sort of knowledge in it, not just "_______ are teh roxors".

THis thread is garbage and should be locked as i said above.

It isn't objective. As long as you dont post sh!t like "_______ wins in everytest", or "not him again", or, Noob, or something to that extent its a successful post! Take a look at merlocka's post, that is what i consider an unsuccessful post because it does nothing to help a situation all it does make things worse. T

NOW STOP ALL THE EFFIN FLAMING TOWARDS ME!!!! Its's getting old and annoying.

As for the previous post, im not all worked up about this thread. It was decieving and it was in a forum area where it didn't belong. I can take humor very well but when it is extremely unclear like this and i post something as to what it could be about and then a whole crap load of people start flaming, it gets really annoying!

I can take a joke as well as anyone else, but then when people start trolling, and being stupid is when it ceases to be humor.
