Zenmervolt brought it up in another thread and i was wondering if anyone else likes this kinda stuff. Can anyone link me to some sites where i can download doowop music? i can't get on Napster or Scour so don't tell me to use those. Gimme some names of some of the good ones.
Good music, and I was able to find some of it on Napster, but it does take some doing. The way I went about it was to visit the website of one of those compilation companies like <TVMusic4U.com> and look through their 50's offerings. Make a list of the titles of songs you like and then search Napster. Largely dependant upon when you log in though. Those older songs are hard to come by even in record stores now-a-days.
I sang in an A Cappella doo-wop group in my undergraduate days. You may want to start looking into "A Cappella" groups and organizations to find links and songs, etc. Just another avenue for you to try.
I think most people would have told you to hit Napster and Scour( I know I would have ) but since you can't use them, you could always try Audiofind.com. Hope that helps!
