Monster just sent me a job match from Campbell's Soup for quality assurance. Here's some of thier requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience and active role in a pasta manufacture

Education Desired: MBA+

Yeah, I'm sure there's MILLIONS of people getting thier Masters in pasta. I know when I was a kid, I looked up to spaghettiologists with awe and bewilderment.
 
Employers are the most optimistic people alive. They craft their perfect candidate and are pretty reluctant to deviate from this image.
 
lol. Yeah, one place I was looking at prior to getting my current position wanted "A candidate with BS in all three of the following: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering with a MS in Material Science and at least 4 years of experience". Starting Salary: 62k$. What a joke!

Good lord. $62k a year for all that MIGHT cover the student loan payments with enough left over for meager livin' by for someone with those qualifications.

Like say Campbell's wanted an MBA with 5+ years of exp and only willing to pay $25k/year.

Many people look at an MBA as something like a masters in the persons undergrad major...
