Don't you nerds have anything better to do on a Saturday?

Still a bit early here, but I have to repair my fence today. The last storm found some weakened 4x4 posts that I have to replace before the dammed fence falls completely over. 🙄
This should be quite the 3-ring circus...my neighbor & I are both old, fat, and broken...and neither of us can do a hell of a lot of manual labor anymore.

(dig for 2 minutes, take a smoke break, drink some coffee, bitch about the fence...dig for 2 minutes, take a smoke break, drink more coffee, bitch about the dog shit in the yard...dig for 2 minutes, take a smoke break, piss in a corner of the yard, drink more coffee, bitch about our wives..............😀

At least your neighbor sounds like a decent human being. I was so thankful when we moved into an area with neighbors that were friendly, caring, and, well, neighborly.

I have no money to do anything. My little disposable income just went to a phone. Nerdy yes, but even when I had money it wasnt enough to do anything exciting. I took the all-terrain tires off my truck this summer and didnt feel like putting them on again, so my mountain trips are done until spring. I do have a treadmill in front of the TV but that gets boring after an hour or so.

Now its just neffing and video games.

lots of chores to do around the house
clean aquariums
do laundry
do dishes
clean out garage
etc etc

I was in the aquarium hobby for most of my life...the cleaning chores is one aspect that I DO NOT miss now that I'm out of the hobby...a single aquarium isn't usually too time consuming...but when you get several of them...and large ones at that, between cleaning and water changes...it can take up most of a day...or weekend.

Yeah, we got lucky with this guy. He's easy to get along with and we're "friends" to a point. (friendly neighbors anyway) The folks who lived on the other side were just the opposite. We battled over their loud "flea market" cucaracha music all the time, over parking...on my part of the lawn between the houses, in front of my driveway, etc., over "pruning" my crape myrtle, (I didn't mind them pruning the part that hung over the fence...that's legal, but when they'd reach as far over the fence as they could...then killed it with some herbicide...that was too fucking much.) When I let word get out that I was having the tree tested at a local lab and would file charges if I could prove it was killed with a herbicide...they moved suddenly.
They rented the house to a pretty decent family. No problems...YET. 😛

Nah....we do have better things to do but that does nto necessarily mean that we want to do them. For instance, I have numerous stacks of math quizzes to grade because progress reports are coming up. I also need to go buy bulk red ink to finish the job, but neffing seems so much more fulfilling.

My math teacher just gives them a quick glance and checks em off. Of course, she's fucking had it with us and next asshole who starts some nonsense in class is likely to be kicked out of school.

I love college. Its like high school on crack. In fact.................

Drove a friend home late last night, came home and went to sleep. Woke up this morning and I feel hungover or something; but I didn't even drink or do anything last night. Coming down with a cough too.

If I feel alright there's a hous party tonight I'm going to which should be cool.

Edit: The reason I'm here on Saturday is because I just woke up not long ago, ate breakfast and still feel pretty shitty - it looks shitty outside, it's cold and I don't feel like doing shit all right now.

Hell no. Well, I do but I'm lazy. I ain't goin outside unless to smoke a cig. Well shit I just checked the weather, it's almost 65 degrees! That is crazy for this time of year.

When I was into aquariums, I spent most of my time building things to automate the process. At least it got me interested in electrical engineering. 😀

I spent the latter half of the morning until a little bit ago getting the lawn mower ready for spring. I usually just change the oil and filter, but it's 66° today, bright and sunny so I decided to do the whole nine yards. Gassed up the snowblower, swept up the garage and so on and so forth.

I'm taking a break right now. I don't know what I've got but I have this cough and a mild headache. Day three. No temperature though. I'm surprised how whipped I am after even minor activity.

Too nice a day to waste though. Unusual weather for this time of year. Supposed to be the same tomorrow, so if I have the energy, I should be able to finish up my fall chores pretty easily.

Yesterday I finally got my old computer in order so my gf could use it. I was rather worried about it since it's just been sitting and collecting dust for over a year now. It's up and running now though with a fresh XP install on it.

This morning I just put Windows 7 on my main computer. I've been running XP Pro until then. I'd definitely liking 7.

So that's why I'm not outside 😛

Girl left around 9am, I didn't get up till almost noon. It's 2 hours later of computer abuse, but I'm about to hit the gym, then go for a run when I get back. Then off to the bar/restaurant with friends to watch the fight.

I'm getting ready to go clam digging.
