i don't hate it cause it rarely happens. i prefer clothes that look name brand but have no logos. like bubble jackets i paid $35 for 🙂 that look like $150 ones lol 😀

I know the feeling. I picked up (remember college student here 😉 ) a sport jacket from Walmart for $13. Multiple friends thought I had gotten something on the level of A&F or American Eagle, which had I would have cost me something like $50. Nice find 🙂

Pepsi Blue was teh awesomes, as was Sprite Remix. Never got to try DNL, but I absolutely love most of the new Mountain Dew flavors (I wish they made the orange and purple flavors diet and year-round).

I only ever been pwned by advertising once, when I was reading a computer mag and read what I thought was an article. I was all "duurrrrr they're stumping for this 1&1 hosting service pretty hard durrrrr... lot of pages for a story nurrrrrr durrrrr," and then I see the "HEY, STUPID! THIS IS A FVCKING AD, YOU DUMB SCHMUCK!" written on every page and I'm all "dammit!" And that's when I began to hate 1&1 hosting and vowed to never ever use them.

I'm with family and we stop at the gas station. There's a Pepsi truck outside of it. I walk into the convenient store to grab something to drink, the whole time I'm running threw to do lists in my head. Without even realizing it I'm walking out of the store with a Pepsi. I'm not the biggest fan of Pepsi or soda for that matter to begin with. Normally I'd grab water or an Arizona Ice Tea.

Bastards!

And pay $1.25 for 12oz of tap water... Advertisement at its best....

My tap water here tastes like pool water. I've never had bottled water that tasted like pool water.

Here's a hint:

Fill a pitcher of your tap water and leave it uncovered 24-72 hours. The chlorine taste will be gone. Don't leave it uncovered in your fridge, though, or it will take on the taste of the smelliest thing in the fridge.

Another hint: Most, if not all soda machines filter their water. So filling up a cup of water at a soda fountain will give you filtered tap water, which is what most bottled water is anyhow.

There are very few times in which you actually need to buy bottled water. If you don't like the tatse of your tap (most tap water tastes just fine) filter it.

I actually just bought one of those Brita filters for my fridge. It works well to get rid of the chlorine taste/smell. I didn't know about leaving the water out though. That's good to know if I'm too lazy to buy more filters.

I also buy water by the gallon sometimes or bottles in bulk at Costco.

Brita doesn't work for my tap water. Reverse osmoses ftw.

There's a purple flavor? <runs off to store....>

I'm with you about the diet versions though. I really wish mountain dew would make a diet version of the orange flavor. I like MD but I really don't care for all the sugar.

The purple flavor is usually release around Halloween. It's called "pitch black" and it's sour grape.

Pitch black is good but 'live wire' -- the orange one tastes like watered down orange soda to me. :disgust:
